Family Advocacy disclaims all liability from any difficulties or anomalies arising from payments made on the payment gateway.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What to Expect After Registering for an Event Online:<\/strong> You will receive an automated acknowledgment if your registration to the event has been successful. If you have requested an invoice, it will be emailed to you. Once we have processed your online payment, a receipt will be sent to you. The intention of the Collection is to educate, inform, and inspire families and others who work with people with disabilities. People with disability, their families, students, and professionals can access the Inclusion Collection library.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Access and Borrowing: <\/strong>Physical resources may be loaned within NSW. Interstate loans may require approval. Users wanting to borrow a hard copy resource, must request for them on our website by completing a form.<\/li>\n<li><strong>New Additions and Recommending a Resource: <\/strong>The inclusion Collection user may chose to inform the organisation of a potentially\u00a0new or historical resources, articles, or books suitable for the Inclusion Collection may complete a form on the Inclusion Collection page to request a review of its suitability to be added to the library.\n<ul>\n<li>The Family Advocacy team will coordinate an assessment of the resource\u2019s suitability in line with the Purpose of Family Advocacy.<\/li>\n<li>When a resource is recommended and a confirmation receipt is received, this is not evidence and does not guarantee its addition to the library.<\/li>\n<li>Family Advocacy reserves the right to not inform users of a new addition\/s to the library, including the person or entity that submitted the initial request for review.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong><strong>Copyright: <\/strong><\/strong>Copyright laws require that where a library copies articles or parts of literary works for users, or, where training material including but not limited to Family Advocacy workshops, acknowledgment of the original source must be noted.<\/li>\n<li><b>Loan Period:\u00a0<\/b>Books may be borrowed for up to 30 days, with a possible reasonable extension of a further 10 days upon request.\n<ul>\n<li>Requests for resources can be made by emailing communications@family-advocacy.com<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Borrowing process:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>We do not charge a borrowing fee.<\/li>\n<li>When completing a form online to borrow a resource, hard copy resources will require a postage address.<\/li>\n<li>In some cases, credit card details may be requested when filling out a resource request form so in the off chance an item goes missing, is damaged or returned late, Family Advocacy may charge an administrative fee.\n<ul>\n<li>Family Advocacy reserves the right to charge an administration fee for late, damaged or missing items.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>All loans and downloads are recorded on the Family Advocacy website, reports on frequency and use of resources are available to staff only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Email reminders:\u00a0<\/strong>A reminder email will be sent to inform the borrower when their item is due for return. However the borrower is responsible for tracking the due date and returning the item on time, if our email reminder is not sent it does negate the borrowers responsibility to ensure the item is returned in the same condition it was received, and on time.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Overdue and Lost Items: <\/strong>\u00a0If a resource is returned late, we charge $1 for each day it&#8217;s late (up to 30 days). After 30 days, we will charge a $50 replacement fee, but we deduct any late fees you\u2019ve already paid from the $50 fee.<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Confidential Information:\u00a0<\/strong>We hold confidential information, including download\/request history and card details.\n<ul>\n<li>This information is protected and managed in accordance with privacy laws.<\/li>\n<li>Third parties involved in processing payments or managing the database may also hold confidential information.
